The GICI GastroFest Charity dinner to raise funds for the NZ Gastro Intestinal Cancer Institute

Wolf of Water Street Warehouse Venue

What We Did

After pitching the concept of "Industrial Beauty" we used grey linen, raw brick table numbers and a hanging flower installation worked with two celebrity chefs and a dessert supplier to create a cohesive three course dinner experience. LittleWolf also provided the kitchen team, event management and floor staff, as well as being a Platinum Sponsor.

What They Ate

Canapes by LittleWolf including an edible living garden installation, Charred Salomn Tacos by Jess’ Underground Kitchen, Wagyu Rib Eye with all the trimmings from Geoff Scott and Ginelli’s Gelato for dessert.

What They Said

Kia ora Emma and Marcel

Firstly thanks so, so much for supporting GastroFest this year. As a platinum sponsor we could not have done it without you. The venue and styling were amazing. See the rest of the text below….sent out to all the auction providers and it will also go to the attendees. Pushing the stunning venue which everyone adored. Sound system down the back only glitch which you will need to address for future events, otherwise it was fantastic. Ruth

We raised $85,000 this year, a record for GICI. This could not have been possible without your support. If you would like a copy of the booklet sent to you let me know.

We had 300 people attend and it went super well with people served amazing food and beverages at the stunning Wolf on Water Street.

This is a biannual event and we will definitely be in touch for GastroFest 2018. Have a safe and merry festive season, in the knowledge that your support could have saved someone’s life from a Gastro-Intestinal Cancer. What a gift that is!!

Thanks again for getting #GutsyforGICI and supporting increased awareness of GI cancers and improved funds for clinical research trials in New Zealand.

Kind regards
