General Manager “Big Bad”
Marcel fell in love with cooking accidentally. Starting his career learning on the job and working his way through Auckland’s top restaurants, by the age of twenty-six he’d had successful head chef stints. He decided his next challenge would involve owning his own business.
“In catering I saw the opportunity for a scalable hospitality business, with a constant change of things that could be created and more opportunities for a strong brand."
“After fifteen years as a chef I become co-owner of a well-known local catering company. The business was doing well, but I wanted to bring an original, creative approach to catering and events – something I felt was missing in the New Zealand scene.”
In 2010, he started LittleWolf, delivering his orders out of a small kitchen with a team of three.
“Designing event concepts lets us be creative. We ask our clients about the experience they want to give their guests then experiment with different styles of food and presentation and develop a menu that brings their vision to life.”
Marcel combines his food knowledge with a passion for innovation and developing incredible event experiences. He works with LittleWolf’s Head Chef on menu development and ensures the business is running smoothly.
As General Manager Marcel leads the Wolf Pack by keeping creativity and quality as core LittleWolf values.
